Jodi Mendelsohn
Founder & Principal Designer
My journey into Interior Design started when I was a young teen tagging along with my mother, a successful bi-coastal interior designer. I learned first hand how to really listen to the client’s vision and turn it into a reality.
My mother would often take my two sisters and me traveling around New England to flea markets, auctions and estate sales. This is where I cultivated my love of “hunting” for beautiful objects. I had also observed that when people surrounded themselves with objects that are pleasing to them it brought serenity and calmness in their lives. I knew at that point that interior designing inspired me to make people happy.
I believe that designing is about creating spaces that are filled with inspiration, style and function. With ten plus years of experience in designing homes, I am most energized by taking a blank canvas and combining a modern aesthetic with traditional accents. My goal is to bring each room to life for my clients.
When we are on the go, which is most of the time we love going to flea markets, estate sales and finding “hidden treasures”. We appreciate the gift of traveling and exploring new places. Wherever we end up I’m sure to find incredible pieces for my clients.
